Kate Bowers offers innovative and striking landscape designs, as well as an interactive approach when partnering with contractors and homeowners. With a focus on developing personalized designs for custom home projects and clients seeking ‘outside the box’ outdoor spaces, her business has grown exponentially through referrals from happy homeowners.

Through the design process, Kate partners with clients along with their architects, builders, pool designers and landscape contractors to create one-of-a-kind designs. Typically, her involvement with homeowners starts with an undeveloped property or outdated landscape and extends through the design review process and installation phase. Using a hands on approach to Project Coordination, her team directs the materials and plant selection phase and continues until each element has been placed in the finished landscape. The results are beautiful and dramatic landscapes that compliment each home’s unique architecture and the surrounding property.

After completing 10 seasons as a featured designer for HGTV / DIY Network’s popular landscape makeover show Yard Crashers, Kate continues to use that experience to bring a creative design perspective to each new project. Additionally, Kate has worked extensively helping fire survivors rebuild after the Sonoma County fires of 2017, and in doing so had become a specialist in firewise landscaping design.

Kate also satisfies her desire to give back by leading the volunteer organization Happy Spaces. This organization creates outdoor areas designed for the unique needs of children going through medical treatment or living with disabilities. For her part, she cherishes the personal reward knowing she and her volunteers  change lives.  These functional, healing places offer a relaxing place for these special children and their families to enjoy together.
